The once richly-decorated Chapter House can hold wedding ceremonies for up to 100 guests. Now with simple plain stone walls and a dramatic vaulted ceiling, it is an understated but beautiful location for a spring or summer wedding ceremony. With an arched doorway and triple windows at one end, the Chapter House leads directly onto the Cloister.
The Warming Room, which can also hold 100 guests for your wedding ceremony, was historically where a fire burnt day and night. With pillars, a vaulted ceiling and arched windows, this is a beautifully atmospheric place to exchange vows or to toast the future.
The Dormitory has a gorgeous wood-beamed roof and is a charming spot for a wedding ceremony or drinks reception for up to 80 guests.
Angels look down from the stunning roof of the Refectory Hall, making this a perfect location for you to exchange vows in front of up to 80 guests. The angels adorn the trusses of the unusual roof, the crowning glory of this lovely bright and airy space.
Sheltered by the walls of the monastic buildings surrounding it, the Cloister is an ideal space for guests to gather on warm days for al fresco drinks. From here, guests can venture into other parts of the abbey while you enjoy drinks and photos in the sunshine.
Within the grounds, lawns are available for marquee receptions during the summer months. You can have a marquee individually designed to create your perfect location for dinner and dancing into the night.
